3. Student Conference of the Department of Forest and Soil Sciences, 2018

At the Department of Forest and Soil Sciences about 80 Bachelor, Master and PhD students and their supervisors hold the 3. Student conference – successfully creating a scientific atmosphere of intellectual exchange and thirst for knowledge but within the ‘safe’ boundaries of their Alma Mater Viridis.
The conference took place on May 25th, 2018 in form of two parallel sessions and one central presentation venue at the Schwackhöfer-Haus. The 24 oral and 33 poster presentations once again demonstrated the high scientific level and the broad range of student-driven research projects at the department. Two keynote lectures by senior scientist of the department set examples for appealing and informative oral presentations. A book of abstracts has been published and is available as hardcopy in the library and online. Lisa Maria Bischofers was awarded the best poster price at this years’ student conference.
